Dear St. Margaret Mary Families,
By now you have heard the directive by Gov. J. B. Pritzker to suspend in-person learning for the remainder of the school year. St. Margaret Mary will continue to provide an education to all our students (preschool – 8th grade) through e-Learning until the end of the year. I am so proud of our students and teachers as they remain dedicated to continuous learning during this time. Thank you to our parents as you continue to navigate these uncertain waters. I know that this is not an easy situation for you, but the partnership between home and school is an integral part of the success of our students’ education. I know that you have a lot of questions about the remainder of the year, early next week I will be sending an email to all school families addressing these questions.
My heart goes out to all our students, teachers, and families. The school doors may be closed but the connections to our students and families are not. We will be okay because of the amazing students, parents, and staff at St. Margaret Mary and we know that with God we are all in this together.
If your family requires anything please reach out and I will try to find the resources to help. The staff and I miss all the students dearly. I pray for your families to remain healthy and to grow closer to God during this time.
