Dear St. Margaret Mary Families,
I am so proud of how our teachers and students have connected through technology to engage in teaching and learning. By working together we have completed our first week of e-Learning and I can confidently say that students were learning throughout the week.
Our teachers continue to prepare effective e-Learning lesson plans so we can continue instruction after spring break. We hope that you and your family enjoy this upcoming spring break week.
E-learning classes start again on Monday, March 30.
By now I am sure you are aware that Governor Pritzker has mandated a shelter-in-place until April 7. The Illinois State Board of Education and the State of Illinois have not established a concrete date for public and nonpublic students to return to school. We will continue to monitor this situation and update you as new guidelines are released.
I have received several questions about registration payments. FACTS Tuition Management will be debiting student registration on April 14. We understand that this pandemic has affected so many of our families. Also, some of our families are faced with financial difficulties. Every effort will be made to work with any family that is having difficulty meeting this registration fee.
Please let me know if you need additional options for registration by Monday, April 6, 2020.
I know that you may have additional questions and concerns, please look for an email after spring break with additional information about year-end activities.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to St. Margaret Mary Catholic School.
