Arrival Line Reminders

Dear St. Margaret Mary Families,

We are off to a great start to our second full week of school and the students are really getting into the routine. We have noticed some snags in the morning drop-off procedures, but they are easily fixed.

Below are just a few reminders to help drop-off run smoothly.

• Parents DO NOT exit your car in the car line.  Students should be ready to get out of the car when the car is between the yellow curbs.  If you need extra time please pull into the parking lot and take the extra time before getting back into the line.
•  Students should exit between the YELLOW CURB and you should pull all the way forward.  We see many students waiting to exit the car closer to the school doors.  This delays the flow of the line.  Once your car is between the yellow curb and all cars are stopped students should exit the car.
• Only Preschool students should be dropped off behind the school. If a preschool family has a K-8 student they may walk to the sidewalk and not use the car line.  If you only have a K-8 student, you must use the car line to drop off.
