Revised Catholic Schools Week Schedule 2/4 – 2/8

REVISED CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK SCHEDULE:

All Week: “Catholic Schools Week Food Drive”

Throughout Catholic Schools Week St. Margaret Mary will be collecting nonperishable food items. The canned food and boxed items will be donated to the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry.

Monday, February 4, 2019:

ALL SCHOOL DRESS THEME: Super ~Students are permitted to dress as their favorite superhero. Masks will not be permitted during class time.
Home and School will provide a hot dog lunch for all students (Including full-day preschool). If your child does not want a hot dog, please send your child with lunch.
Tuesday, February 5, 2019: Celebrating our Community
ALL SCHOOL DRESS: Sports theme – Show your pride in your favorite sports team attire. Hats are not permitted in the building.
Each grade will be creating a thank you packet for members in our community. One student representative from each class will go into the community after school to deliver the thank you packets.

Wednesday, January 30: We Celebrate our St. Margaret Mary Staff

ALL SCHOOL DRESS THEME: Spirit Wear Day
There will be no hot lunch today. Every student must bring lunch.
Saint Margaret Mary Staff will attend a special luncheon hosted by the Home and School Association from 12:0 – 1:00. Lunch and recess coverage will be provided by Home and School and volunteers.
We are looking for volunteers to help cover the lunch periods. Please contact the school office if you can volunteer.

Students are to dress in their school uniforms.
Preschool/Kindergarten Breakfast – All preschool families that will have a kindergartener or preschool student are invited to have breakfast with the principal from 9:00 – 9:45.
Community Open House 10:00 – 11:30

Friday, February 8: Celebrating our Parents and Families

ALL SCHOOL DRESS: School Uniform
Mass at 9:15
Families are invited to the school to share lunch with their children and visit their children’s classrooms. Grandparents, aunts, or uncles are invited to step in if a parent cannot attend. If no adult member of your family can attend, your child will be allowed to sit with a friend’s family for lunch.
ALL FAMILIES, PLEASE MEET YOUR CHILD(REN) IN THE CAFETERIA OR GYM FOR LUNCH (and be sure to let your child(ren) know which location you will be in).
We are looking for volunteers to help supervise recess in the classrooms from 12:35 – 12:55.  Please contact the school office if you are able to volunteer.  
Pre-School parents are invited to have lunch in the school with their child(ren) from 11:30 – 12:00.
